Back at it like a crack addict. Jp but the struggle continues lol. So I was supposed to buy this truck, a 01 Ram 1500 right. Talk to the buyer for 2 weeks. Test drive the truck, find all the problems, etc. I say “gimme a price” just to be told “I’m not ready to let it go”. Like come onnnn. But its whatever. The truck needed a lot of work anyways but maybe it was a divine sign not to buy it lol.

     It kinda motivates me to work harder so I can get a “company vehicle”. It’s either gonna be a chevy express or a school bus, not in between. I’m probably going to buy a school bus so I can stand out.

     The Honda broke down again, but that’s nothing new bro just needed a battery. Speaking of battery I’m worn out from all this FUXKIN OVERTIME. I work like I got a morgage, a wife, 3 kids, & a boat lol. I’ve been on night shift since May 20th and have worked overtime every week as of July 29th. I don’t mind working OT, but EVERY WEEK? If nights work a full shift of overtime days don’t even work half a day so they get to leave hella early on Fridays. I making more than day shift but it’s the principle that’s pissing me off.

     I never want to be the person that only joy is living for the weekends. I want to be happy everyday. One dude I work with was like “ 4th of July holiday break is the only thing keeping me going”. Ok so what’s your motivation after that? Labor Day? Its sad because my co-workers are stuck there because its there only option vs me I’m just starting my career. I’ll probably be gone from that job by next April/May.

     Anyways I really didn’t do anything for the 4th of July. I didn’t even catch on fire which is crazy. It rained fuxkin elephants that day so we really couldn’t pop fireworks lol. I went to Jarkell’s house after and popped a little bit. That mf popped his fireworks AND MINE. Talking about “I thought they were mine bro, they were sitting on the table.” It was like a $80 kit and I had about $10 left once he was done lol. I’m older now so I had to fill the position of “drunk uncle at cookout” which was pretty fun. After a large pizza from Domino’s and about 6 tweeds I say I did a good job.

     A week later I went to New York to see my buddy Josh. The plane gods must not have wanted me to fly because Microsoft crashed literally right before I got on my plane. The first 2 nights in White Plains we just went to bars and got drunk lol. It’s was the one dude that looked me dead in my eyes and called me Mike Tyson. Bro was genuinely convinced I was Mike Tyson lol. Sunday we went to time square and watched some homeless people dance at the Filipino fest & they were fuxkin the floor up. I saw a Dominican Spider-Man and bro kept disappearing. I know he was gonna charge an arm and a leg for a picture but I didn’t care. Bro was literally spawning around Times Square. I guess his spidey sense was tingling because bro was a ghost lol.

     After I got back home all my stuff for my show tent arrived. Chairs,tent, decals,sign. My setup still has a ways to go but this is a good start. Mainly considering I’ve never had curb appeal at any show. But it’s cool it a a process and I’m working one it. Hopefully this time next year I can be in Atlanta streetwear market. I got accepted when I was in Clemson, but that show is mad expensive for a table. I gaining a little traction but not a lot. I’m not mad tho, I’m enjoying the trip. Since I take a lot of Polaroids I might start like a scrap book of the brand and shows and whatever else is worth collecting.

     I feel like I yapped so much I melted your eardrum off. So we’ll pick this conversation up next month lol.
